Now, this is the collab we know plenty of you have been waiting for: One Drop have teamed up with fellow Botany brewers and lauded Europhiles Slow Lane to create Drop It Slow, a dreamy and delicate farmhouse ale 18 months in the making.
Brewed at One Drop, the liquid was then aged in oak barrels at Slow Lane for ten months on Brettanomyces, loaded with mango, poured into clear glass 750ml bottles, then bottle-conditioned for five months more.
The result radiates a glorious orange hue and pours with a lemon-coloured head. Despite its hefty 6.2 percent ABV, Drop It Slow remains light, elegant and incredibly well-balanced with the mango mingling deliciously with subtle fruity esters.
Just as well this one does come in big format bottles because it’s incredibly hard to put down.
