Comprising 14 exceptional craft breweries and distilleries nestled in the heart of Inner Melbourne, this new belt promises a unique and immersive experience for beer enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike.
Spanning two distinctive areas - Port Melbourne & South Melbourne, as well as Richmond up to Clifton Hills, the Cityside Beer Belt is set to redefine Victoria’s status as a premier destination for craft beer and spirits.
While the Sunshine Coast currently holds the title of the Craft Beer Capital of Australia with the highest number of craft breweries per capita, Victoria is poised to shake up the industry with its growing roster of artisanal beer and spirit producers.

Visitors can embark on Hop On Hop Off Brewery & Distillery Tours every Saturday across the three current Beer Belts including Bayside, Eastside and now Cityside, providing a convenient and immersive way to explore Victorian breweries and distilleries. Private Tours are also available seven days a week, offering personalized experiences for those looking to delve deeper into the craft beer culture of Melbourne.
