Riders Brew Co is based in Melbourne's southeast and brews a range of beers often named after skateboarding terms. It's part of the Kellybrook Wines and Kelly Brothers cider family and is looking for an experienced brewer to join the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER (VIC)
Riders Brew Co is a 1,800 litre brewery in the heart of Moorabbin and a part of Kellybrook Winery, a stalwart of the Yarra Valley wine scene. We added the brewery to our off-site cider bottling and kegging facility at Moorabbin in 2014.
Over the last few years we have been quietly going about building our capability and systems while receiving awards and loyal customers along the way.
We are looking to employ a head brewer who wants to work at a place that values work/life balance, is in business for the long haul and really cares about quality. There is no retail setup or bar and you won't be asked to do brewery tours, just the odd bit of promo here and there.
We are a relatively small setup so you will need to relish being in control of the brewing process from start to finish.
In return we ask that the candidate:
- Has a minimum 3 years commercial brewing experience
- Is comfortable running a bottling line
- Is not just scientific but also practical
- Has a fork and car license
Obviously, all the usual things like record keeping, running lab samples etc is expected.
Salary and benefits will be negotiated based on experience and skills. This is a full time position but if the right candidate comes along who can do more in less time we can be flexible.
