JOB DESCRIPTION: ROAD CREW (BRAND DEVELOPMENT) – BRISBANE
Born & raised in Byron Bay, brewed and bottled in the Northern Rivers, Stone & Wood takes a fresh approach to brewing beer that's simply good to drink. We are also ingrained in our local communities, supporting the people who support us, and staying true to our role as a regional brewer.
Our customers in Brisbane have been an active and special part of our story, with so many great venues, events, enthusiastic supporters and drinkers excited to embrace the craft beer movement. Our Brand Development peeps take pride in looking after our customers like nobody’s business, and due to our ongoing development and loyal base, we’re looking to add another person to our crew.
Being part of our road crew in Brissie requires a unique combination of skills. Yep - you’ve got to love beer as much as we do. But that’s the easy bit, right?
We’re looking for someone that thinks of customers first, communicates confidently and represents our brand in the simple, down to earth style we value so much. You will get lots of autonomy with us, but also integrate with and be a key member of our Brisbane team. That means your self-awareness and ability to self-manage are super important. Ideally, you’ll come from a role or background that aligns nicely to how we do things – it’s not sales, its brand development, and that’s an important difference to us.
Maybe you’re working in the beverage industry in a similar role already… but we’d also love to hear from people in other lifestyle or related sectors that share our approach and values.
What will you get up to in this exciting role?
- Showcasing our brand amongst the ever-growing beer community
- Tastings and bar shouts. This often includes introducing a drinker to Stone & Wood for the first time…a very cool experience
- Coordinating brand activations
- Participating in events and festivals
- Beer education in the trade
- Growing the brand in our backyard
- And most importantly, supporting our customers
The important bits:
You will be on the road and working with our products, so you must have to a full driver's license, a current QLD and NSW RSA and have full rights to work in Australia. This is a full-time role based in Brisbane and surrounding areas.
You will be provided with a car, laptop, a beer allowance and other company benefits to support you.
