Job Description: Head Brewer - Regional Northern NSW
Brewstaff is proud to be partnering with an established brewery in the Northern NSW region to recruit a full time Head Brewer.
The role will manage all brewhouse operations including the production of their core range, plus, you'll have free reign to get creative with regular seasonal and special releases.
This brewery has a great local following and runs a successful brewpub plus a growing on/off prem distribution strategy, and has recently taken delivery of a new canning line to help uplift their output. This role is a unique opportunity to help them grow & build on great foundations, in an otherwise challenging market.
Responsibilities:
- Formulation and production of the brew schedule, packaging, ordering raw materials, quality control etc
- Ensure the site is operating efficiently in line with strict safety and hygiene processes in place
- Assisting to build out policies & procedures
- Develop and manage an equipment maintenance program and supervise all equipment repairs.
Ideally, you’ll have completed some relevant study, either through TAFE or IBD, but what is most important is your ability (and passion for) brewing great beer. As this is a stand alone role, Senior/Lead/Head Brewer experience is essential.
