Showcasing our products, we have multiple hospitality venues located across the Otway and Bellarine region.
Incorporating the brands Prickly Moses, Forbidden Fruit Cider, Queenscliff Brewery, Queenscliff Distillery, Apollo Bay Distillery along with Queenscliff Brewhouse & Great Ocean Road Brewhouse, Otway Brewing Group has something for everyone.
We are looking for an experienced BREWER to join our team and produce our award-winning beers.
We expect the candidate following appropriate training in the brewery will be able to undertake beer production assisting the head brewer and independent to the head brewer.
The Role:
- Assist in Brewery Activities such as WORT Production, Cellaring including CIP, Packaging & Quality Control, Tank Management & Routine Maintenance
- Inventory & Data Management
- Comply with Safety and SOPs
- General Warehousing tasks
- Some Cellardoor sales may be required
- Some Tasks can be of a manual nature
- Assist with Brewery Tours & Beer Education
- Hours and Roster negotiable with the candidate
The Skills Required:
- At least one year in a production brewery employed in a brewing role
- RSA
- Problem Solving thinking
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent Time Management
- IBD or related brewing education is an asset
- Interest and experience in distilling highly sought
- Up-to-date forklift license is an asset
