While plenty of beer nerds may have embraced the style, for many drinkers buying sours remains outside their comfort zone.
So, to help spread the power of sour, The Oak Barrel is hosting an evening of sour beer tasting with a focus on California's Alamanac Beer Co.
The event will showcase a variety of classic sours and compare them with Almanac's modern versions.
