Like stablemate Wheat, Beerland's Kolsch takes its lead from Germany, in particular the lager like pale ales from Cologne. It pours a clear pale gold, offers up a touch of apple/pear fruitiness from the ale yeast, some light, biscuity malts and a touch of balancing bitterness.
The brewers have used some European noble hops to add a touch of spiciness to a beer designed to slip down easily on Perth's many hot days.
