Southern Highlands Brewing American Pale Ale

Southern Highlands' core range American pale ale – the first pale ale they ever released – is hewn from the sort of stuff upon which the rise of craft beer in the US was built; certainly, it's a far cry from the paler, fruitier, flightier, hazier pales of today.

Pouring a dark copper, aromas are pretty restrained and of the citrus / woody sort, combining with the specialty malts to create some orange toffee flavours before contributing a drying, citrusy bitterness.
