Help Us Get Blind: APA Voting Round

American style pale ales have become one of the most popular beers within Australia's fast-growing craft beer scene. Indeed, there are so many on offer now that we've decided to split our next Blind Tasting into two parts – the first looking at American pale ales and the second at those favouring New World hop characters.

We've compiled long lists for both, asking brewers to tell us in which category they would like their beers to be assessed. There are some beers that come with a little of column A and a little of column B but by taking this two-stage approach we're going to be able to put more beers to the test.

Pick the ten you'd like to see featured from the list below and we'll aim to get our hands on the ten most popular from your combines votes. We'll judge around 20 beers in total – many more than that and we risk palate fatigue and undermining the whole enterprise.

Making up the rest of the lineup will be "Dealer's Picks" – selections we'll make in-house, whether to ensure a spread from around the country, to include trophy winning beers or for some other good reason. And, with more than 60 beers in the list below, we're also going to add a "Lucky Dip" element where we'll pick a few beers that don't make the public vote ten or our Dealer's Picks at random.

If there are any beers missing, please email us ASAP so we can add them. We'll close the poll on October 2 to allow time to source the beers.

NB We're only requesting your email address in the form below to ensure there are no multiple entries.

VOTING FOR THIS ROUND IS NOW CLOSED
