Tonight sees Sydney Craft Beer Week open with its Gala Launch, which means the full range of festivities follows from tomorrow. Part of the week for the first time is Pint of Origin: Schooner Edition. If you're a Crafty Pint supporter, you'll find SCBW specials on at The Welcome Hotel and Empire Hotel, on top of the usual offers at venues and breweries around the city.
Members of The Crafty Pint team will also be hanging out with brewers at the six venues on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, shouting beers for Cabal members and also with branded glasses for those that missed the launch last month. Full details of all things PoO can be found here, and passports for the PoO Bus – a twin shuttle operation being run by Dave's Brewery Tours most nights of the festival – are available from the venues now. They cost $25 for unlimited travel between the venues and you get a limited edition PoO t-shirt too.
Don't forget to enter the PoO Comp too; we're running it with Now Tapped and all you have to do is check in at any of the six venues over the week. Each venue is putting up a $50 prize and we've put together a main prize pack too: six cases of beer – one from each Aussie state. Full details here.
