The Craft Beer Industry Association (CBIA) is the largest national body representing Australia's craft brewing industry. Now in its fourth year, it is looking for a full time employee to help it grow.

JOB DESCRIPTION: FUNDRAISING, SPONSORSHIP AND EVENTS SPECIALIST

Salary: $50000 per annum including super

Location: Newcastle, NSW

The Craft Beer Industry Association (CBIA) is the trade body representing Australia's craft brewers. We are committed to being the independent, unifying voice shaping and driving the future of Australian craft beer.

The CBIA is seeking an experienced Fundraising, Sponsorship and Events Specialist who has highly developed sales, communication and administrative skills.

And a love of craft beer of course.

You will be working as part of a very small team where your ability to be adaptable enough to work across a number of areas of responsibility will be essential.

It is a varied and vital role, ranging throughout the year from sponsorship and events to membership communication / coordination to general administrative support.

The role will see you working with the Executive Officer in areas including:

  • indentifying, securing and ongoing management of sponsorships
  • the organisation of our two major annual events: the Australian Craft Brewers Conference and the Craft Beer Awards
  • other annual projects such as our AGM and annual report
  • providing superior service to our members
  • providing effective communications to our members, the industry and the wider community
  • ensuring all aspects of CBIA administration function effectively

For events, weekend work and limited interstate travel may be required.

The successful candidate will possess at least two years experience in a sponsorship or event management role.

Experience in the fields of customer relations and/or office management, tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and strong Office and WordPress skills will be highly regarded.
