Prancing Pony has grown fast since launching in the Adelaide Hills six years ago, distributing its beers nationwide and winning international trophies. Right now, it's looking to fill two roles, one in sales and one supervising its brewery venue.
JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES SUPPORT & RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR
The Prancing Pony Brewery is located in the Adelaide Hills. The Brewery and the Brewery Restaurant are located under the same roof so visitors can enjoy all parts of the brewing functions.
With nationwide distribution, the brewery is now looking to appoint an outgoing, confident Sales Support person to work alongside our Sales Manager for SA and NT.
We see around 1,000 visitors a week so we are also looking for a Restaurant Supervisor for our busy Brewery Restaurant.
Selection criteria for Sales Support
For the Sales Support role, you must:
- have 3-5 years of sales experience in food or beverages
- have used and be familiar with CRM systems, demonstrate advanced computer skills
- have outstanding communication skills and manners.
A love and knowledge for craft beer is desirable. Drivers licence, own vehicle and ability to do some in-store tastings are all part of the job.
Selection criteria for restaurant position
We are looking for a service-focused hospitality professional with a minimum of 10 years’ experience. Approachable in nature with outstanding people skills and in-depth understanding of hospitality functions, you will be working closely with the venue manager and kitchen staff.
An understanding of craft beer is highly desirable as is the ability to work in a fast paced environment. This role requires flexibility, event organisation skills and a solid understanding of back of house duties. A good sense of humour will be looked at favourably.
Ability to work on weekends and a drivers licence are essential.
