Newstead operates out of two breweries and its beers can be found in bar and bottleshops across much of Brisbane.
But the Newstead team are on a mission to get their beers further afield and if you want to assist, currently, they're looking for a sales rep to cover the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales.
Job Description: Sales Representative
Newstead Brewing Co is rapidly closing in on being around for five years. We’re still very much proudly independent and 100% Queensland family owned.
We’ve been operating out of our production facility in Milton, Brisbane for just over a year with our four vessel, DME brewhouse and Cask canning line now in full swing. Our original, spiritual home brewpub in Newstead continues to bash out exciting and innovative small batch beers and collaborations.
We’re now on the hunt for a focused, self-motivated, craft beer-passionate sales professional to join us with an immediate start beckoning.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a region covering the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales. Both on and off premise accounts (independent and national retailers) will be managed while maintaining and building existing customer relationships as well as acquiring new business for continued growth.
The position we’re looking to fill requires a down-to-earth yet ambitious attitude. The right person will come on board with a strong and dynamic work ethic plus the ability to work autonomously.
The role is integral to being part of our dedicated sales team.
Job Requirements:
- A strong and proven sales background
- A passion for and knowledge of craft beer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A team player
- A self-starter
- Highly motivated outlook
- Flexibility in working hours (inc. off-site events such as tastings and festivals)
- A desire to grow and expose the Newstead Brewing Co brand
- Valid QLD drivers license and motor vehicle
- Basic to medium ability with a surf board (not essential)
Remuneration and rewards will be based on experience and qualifications.
