Job Description: Brand Activation Manager

Are you passionate about craft beer? Love event activation? Do you know what it takes to make a beer brand stand out in store? If this sounds like you, then we want to talk.

Brick Lane Brewing Co. is a new independent brewery located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This newly created role will provide marketing activation support to the Brand Manager and the wider Brick Lane Brewing team with a focus on events and sales support.

You might be a sales person looking to switch into marketing, a marketeer looking to take the next step or an events manager with a passion for beer. Whatever your background, you will be a natural communicator, a great team player and have excellent attention to detail. You will also love talking to a variety of people and develop great working relationships within the company.

This exciting role will be very hands-on and will have a direct impact in helping to grow the Brick Lane brand across Australia. You will be a great team player and be adaptable to grow as the business and role grows.

What you’ll be responsible for…

  • Development and management of brand promotional assets
  • Total event management – concept, budget, execution
  • Assisting the Brand Manager on key marketing tasks
  • Briefing and managing creative agencies
  • Developing sales support tools with the sales team
  • Being one of the main marketing team contacts
  • Preparing and managing detailed project plans
  • Getting your hands dirty in all shapes and sizes across our beers and related activities and events

Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Strategic thinker
  • Problem solving skills and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent judgement on best action to take
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Takes ownership for work with proactive approach
  • Previous packaging experience or drinks experience preferable
  • Knowledge of the beer category highly advantageous
