Having managed to get three of its beers in last year's Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers – including a podium spot for Crankshaft IPA – it's been an exciting few months for BentSpoke Brewing.
To keep up with growth, the brewery is looking to add two new members to its production team too. You can read about what they are looking for in an assistant brewer here but, if you want to lead BentSpoke's packaging team, then here's what you need to know.
JOB DESCRIPTION: PACKAGING TEAM LEADER
BentSpoke Brewing Co. is going through an exciting growth phase and has won numerous awards for our high-quality products at the International Brewing Awards in Burton on Trent, AIBA and the Australian Craft Beer Awards.
Reporting to the Production Brewer you will be responsible for leading the packaging of all BentSpoke Brewing Co products.
Responsibilities will include those typically expected of a packaging manager including packaging line management, maintenance and materials procurement, logistics management, team management, and reporting.
The following attributes are expected:
- Passion for Craft Beer
- Mature attitude, honesty, loyalty and exceptional work ethic
- 2 years previous experience in all aspects of packaging is preferred (not necessarily at a brewery)
- Experience in leading and directing a packaging team
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Sound communication skills.
- Forklift Licence desirable
