The Margaret River has become quite the hotbed for craft brewing, and Black Brewing Co is about to make even more of a mark as they expand their site. To keep up with growth, they are looking to add another experienced brewer to the team.
JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER - WA
Black Brewing Co is currently looking for an Experienced Brewer/ Distiller to join our crew. The brewery is undergoing an expansion with new vessels and a new distillery arriving. We are looking for positive people who are enthused about making amazing products from our home in Wilyabrup.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Brewing, cellaring and packaging our beer, Cider and CCR
- CIP of tanks, cellar, packaging lines and brewhouse
- Yeast management & Dry-hopping
- CCR production
- Packaging of our Product range
- Accurately recording day to day operations
- Maintain workplace safety while upholding quality standards
- Maintain accurate and legible records
- Sanitation of all beer/cider/CCR contact surfaces and equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
To be considered for this position you must have:
- A positive attitude
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Maintain excellent standards of brewery hygiene and cleaning
- Good communication and people skills
- Computer literacy
- Previous experience in a FMCG background
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
- Education and experience in Brewing and Distilling
Salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on previous experience and skills.
