This year the team at Dainton Family Brewery has opened the doors to a schmick new brewery in Carrum Downs, and have already started putting out new cans off the line. Now they need a brewer to help take things to the next level.
JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER - MELBOURNE
Dainton Family Brewery in Carrum Downs is looking for a passionate and dedicated brewer who prides themselves above all else on delivering the best possible beer.
Ideal Qualities:
- 3-plus years of commercial brewing experience.
- Strong technical brewing knowledge, including knowledge of raw materials, wort production, yeast and fermentation, QC and troubleshooting.
- CIP know-how
- Experience of operating a packaging line
- Be physically fit, willing and able to perform labour intensive work.
- Be flexible and able to work around changing and seasonal production schedules.
- Have a dedication above all to making the best beer possible.
- Knowledge of HACCP programs.
- Forklift licence.
- Experience in production scheduling.
- Experience in product development.
- Knowledge of wastewater management.
- Lab experience.
- An ability to passionately talk about beer and the brewing process.
The job will be offered part time from November 1, 2016 and move into full time as needed.
