The sales team behind Thunder Road Brewing Co is looking for a new member to help bring the thunder to the Melbourne CBD. As part of the national sales team, the successful applicant will work to strengthen existing ties and build new ones across the Melbourne beer scene.

JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES REP - MELBOURNE CBD

Thunder Road Brewing Co is one of Australia's most successful privately owned brewing companies, growing rapidly both locally and internationally, on and off premise.

Thunder Road Brewing Co intends to be a long term large player in Australia, selling all beer types. We are therefore looking for high performing, well organized individuals keen to join our on-premise liquor team in Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas.

You will be an important part of our National Field Sales team, handling key high volume craft brands and mainstream brands on premise, in both packaged and keg formats. You will have previously worked in the beer industry either for a beer producer or hotel/bar/ pub. You will receive extensive training, but you will also bring a professional attitude and customer service focus that achieves results.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Existing customer focus with sales results
  • New business development
  • Sales territory planning and execution
  • Multilevel negotiations in all venue targets
  • New product release and promotion management

Skills and experience

  • Effective negotiation skills

  • Experience in FMCG or liquor sales/industry
