Bright Brewery is one of the most spectacular in the country, not just because of its impressive venue but also its riverside location in one of Australia's prettiest towns. If you'd like to help run the show, drop them a line.

JOB DESCRIPTION – OPERATIONS MANAGER

Bright Brewery is a family owned and operated brewery that has been producing “MountainCrafted” beers in the spectacular alpine town of Bright since 2005. The region offers beautiful weather and promotes active lifestyles. Our Bright Brewery brand values are centred on the enjoyment and protection of this pristine environment, and the authenticity of our products and services.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who understands, and aligns with, our core values and can deliver organisational efficiency through effective leadership of the brewery teams.

Responsible for the daily operations of Bright Brewery, you will be adept at developing and managing team culture across the business, achieving financial and operational targets, and delivering on quality and service objectives.

Key responsibilities will include strategic planning, business performance management, risk management, staff management, leadership and communication. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills will allow you to effectively manage and coordinate staff to achieve strategic outcomes.

You will have expertise in analysing complex situations in a fast-paced technical environment.  You will also be required to have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Occasionally you may represent Bright Brewery at various events, so your ability to talk in an accessible and engaging way about the wonderful beer we make is a big plus.

The position is full time and a competitive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate, commensurate with their level of knowledge and experience.

Bright Brewery is an equal opportunity employer and this position offers a chance to live in a truly beautiful place with world class mountain biking, cycling, hiking, camping, paragliding, snow and river sports.  We encourage broad and active lifestyles, and flexible working arrangements may be negotiated to accommodate this.

Applications or requests for further information can be made confidentially to enjoywork@brightbrewery.com.au

Applicants must submit a covering letter and resume by September 9, 2016.
