Deliver beer and good times for Young Henrys

You could argue that delivery drivers are amongst the unsung heroes of the beer world. Without them, it'd be much harder for breweries to share what they do with a lot of people. And pubs with no beer deliveries would scarcely be worth going into.

So if you fancy becoming one of the crucial links in this chain, Young Henrys is after another driver to get their beer from A to B, C, D, E and all the other hundreds of places they now supply in Sydney.

Delivery Driver – Young Henrys

Do you like beer?
Do you like to drive?
Do you like to make people happy?
Can you do the third thing and not indulge the first thing whilst doing the second?

If you answered yes to the above questions then i might have a job for you.

Here at Young Henrys we’re looking for a casual driver to deliver our tasty beer around town. If you didn’t already know, Young Henrys are the original craft brewery in Newtown and in order to be our new driver you’ll need to be over 25, have a minimum MR licence and be physically fit.

Look, I’m not going to pretend that driving in Sydney isn’t annoying but if you can keep your cool when delivering the froth to the people, this could be the job for you. As a Henry’s driver you’ll also be a face of our company so we expect that you carry out all your interactions with our customers in a positive and friendly way. This'll make you some new mates who love our beer even more. We’ll supply the vehicle, training and the beer required to carry out the job. Currently we need someone for at least 3 days a week with some flexibility for more.

‘But how much are you going to pay me, Graeme?’, I hear you ask. The job pays $23.09 an hour before tax, and the occasional cheeky coldie on me but only after you’ve knocked off. I’ll even throw in a t-shirt. Sounds pretty sweet, right?

Read this next bit carefully cos it kinda annoys me when people don’t...

Only applications with a cover letter will be considered. It doesn’t need to be an essay, I just want to see that you paid attention. You’ll need a current License (MR or higher) and be legally able to work in Australia. If you have a clean driving record you might like to show me a copy from RMS (i’m not going to let any old yahoo drive my truck am I!)

Email applications only please folks: graeme@younghenrys.com.

I’ll only be contacting the eligible candidates so if you don’t hear from me please don’t take it personally.

Applications close February 29, 2016.
