Brisbane's Slipstream Brewing have recently expanded their brewing capacity and have plans to get a lot more beer out into the world.
To do that they need a brewer and if that sounds like you, they're hiring.
Job Description: Brewer
We are a small team of passionate people, producing some of the most accessible and sessionable craft beers in Australia. Our beers are brewed with nothing but pure flavour in mind, with our popular, award-winning core range line-up as well as a regular limited release program & exclusive small batch program for our venue.
After widening our distribution in Australia, Slipstream Brewing is currently in a period of substantial growth & we have recently upgraded & expanded our brewing facilities. We are looking for key team members to join our team during this exciting period.
If you have a minimum of two years of professional brewing experience and the desire to be part of a growing business, then Slipstream Brewing may be the next step in your brewing career.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of our Head Brewer and work closely with the rest of the Slipstream team. Flexibility is key for this position, as the person may be required to work a variety of functions in addition to brewing, including cellaring, packaging, representing the brewery at events and other tasks.
We are looking for a highly motivated team player who has great attention to detail, shows initiative, has strong communication skills, a creative side and of course, an immense passion for craft beer.
Must have:
- More than years professional brewing experience
- Flexibility to work varying hours
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
- Forklift Licence
Desirable:
- Formal brewing qualifications
- Queensland RSA or RMLV certification
This is a full-time position that is available immediately. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
