It's been a busy few months for Blackrock Brasserie. The Sylvania brewpub has taken on a new brewer for its Blackhorse Brewhouse, multiple award winner Gerard Meares, who has reworked the existing range and started introducing new beers.
They've been brewing GABS beers for themselves and others and now they're ready to start selling more beer outside their home. Which means they're after their first ever sales rep.
JOB DESCRIPTION: CRAFT BEER SALES REP
Blackhorse Brewhouse is the brewing arm of Blackrock Brasserie restaurant and microbrewery located in the Sutherland Shire. We have recently taken on an experienced Head Brewer and we now need an experienced sales rep to get out and push the beers. This is a great role for someone looking at taking up the challenge of establishing a relatively new craft beer brand…and for someone who loves beer!
Role Details:
- Full time role
- Based out of Blackrock Brasserie in the Sutherland Shire but requiring travel all over Sydney
- Building and management of a data base of all On and Off licenced venues
- Attending of all festivals, trade shows, event nights and running tour and tasting events at the brewery
- Base salary with commission upon achieving sales targets
- Flexible hours
Skills Required:
- Proven track record in previous sales role
- Current Drivers Licence
- Solid communication skills
- Passion for quality craft beer
Other things to consider:
- We are looking for a real 'people' person. Someone who loves what they do and enjoys talking about beer
- Previous alcohol industry experience is not necessary but will be considered favourably
- You will need your RSA up to date
- You will need to be well presented
- You will need to be prepared to work some weekends and week nights – such as at festivals and tasting events
