Golden Hills Brewery plan to open in Diamond Creek – a suburb in Melbourne's north eastern green wedge – by the end of the year.
If you want to steer all things beer for the new brewery, the team is looking to take on a senior brewer.

Golden Hills Brewery is a brand new brewery set to open this December in the heart of Diamond Creek, Victoria. If you are looking to take the next step in your career this is for you. We are looking for someone with decent brewing experience that wants to grow into a head brewer at some stage.
A brand new building and amazing fit out, we are installing a new 10HL Spark brewing system in our Brewhouse that will also operate as a 260 patron eatery/taproom. You will initially be brewing primarily for onsite consumption and for New Northcote Tavern in Burwood (set to open in December). Once we have settled into our life as a brewery we will be looking at growth options to help keep us driving forward.
You will have a chance to showcase your own beers and styles to fit in with the venue we have created. We will be looking at a great drinkable core range with plenty of fun stuff around it to tickle the creative side of the right brewer and the punters. It is a hands on role that will initially see the head brewer taking on all roles of brewing to get things going.
The goods we are looking for
- A minimum of four years brewing experience
- Trained in the formulation of recipes, brewing and cellaring
- Experience in scaling recipes, chemistry and yeast metabolism
- A team player that has a hands-on mentality
- A people person that understands that customer service is an integral part of the brewery industry
Although this is primarily a Monday to Friday gig we will need the right person to be available for events on evenings and weekends from time to time.
