As one of Australia's largest independent breweries, Stone & Wood's beers – particularly the flagship Pacific Ale – are available pretty much anywhere you go. If you want to help ensure that remains the case, the brewery is looking for a new member for its Sydney Road Crew.
Job Description: Sydney Roadie
After humble beginnings in 2008, our range of beers led by The Original Pacific Ale, have ignited consumer interest in the marketplace nationally. As we look to expand our reach beyond our backyard, we are looking to recruit for a casual Roadie in Sydney.
The Roadie role supports the full-time Road Crew, representing Stone & Wood to bring our beer to life through tastings, events and activations. This role will suit someone who is studying and has a passion for good beer, who can think on their feet and work autonomously. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and expand their knowledge, and is great with people.
To be a part of the Stone & Wood Family, you must show:
- A passion for good beer
- Knowledge of the local industry
- Strong communication & record keeping capabilities
- Ability to co-ordinate & organise tastings and activations
- Ability to think outside the box
This is a casual position, and will be around 20 hours a week. Hours will change week to week, with the weekend being the main focus for tasting and events. You must have a full drivers license, your own vehicle and hold a current NSW RSA.
