Thunder Road Brewing Co is one of Victoria’s largest independent breweries and produces a well established core range as well as regular limited releases. To keep beer coming out of its Brunswick home, the brewery needs a cellar/packaging hand to join the team.
JOB DESCRIPTION: CELLAR/PACKAGING HAND
Thunder Road Brewing Co is located in Brunswick, Victoria, operating a science focused urban brewery manufacturing operation and small pub pilot brewing system. We are the AIBA Champion Medium Size Australian Brewery 2014 and 2015.
We are currently looking for a permanent casual Cellar/Packaging Hand to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
- Plant CIP
- Kegging
- Centrifuge/filtration
- General plant cleaning
- Raw material and chemical handling
- Record keeping
- Maintenance
- Forklift operation
- Rotating shift worker
Key attributes:
- Minimum two years' experience in a commercial brewing environment
- Hard working
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Able to follow SOP's
- Serious attitude to OHS
- Computer literate
- Good communicator
Advantageous:
- Brewing or related science qualifications
The successful applicant will report to the Production Manager and Quality Manager.
