Job Description: CRAFT BEER SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Greater Brisbane / Gold Coast / Ipswich / Toowoomba
At Moffat Beach Brewing Co, we believe everyone deserves a taste of the good life.
We brew some of the finest craft beers on the Sunshine Coast, and in fact some of the most highly-awarded beer in Australia. And now we’re looking for the right person to help us sell that beer to new and established customers across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and beyond.
About you
Ideally we’re looking for someone with a bit of experience in the sales game already, who can hit the ground running as part of our small and efficient team. You’ve got the tenacity to do the legwork, the cold calls and meet-and-greets, as well as the confidence to close the deal.
We have existing customer networks across South East Queensland, and it will be your responsibility to manage those relationships, while growing new accounts on a steep curve. Working with our National Sales Manager, you’ll be proactive in identifying creative sales opportunities and activations, supporting our customers and upselling wherever possible.
Responsibilities will also include setting up and supporting beer festival activations and events, conducting in-store tastings, and regular events (eg. tap takeovers) at on-premise venues.
Beer knowledge is not essential but is looked favourably upon. Our customers are savvy to the ways of hops, and love to talk about what’s next in tank. While you’ll be based in the Brisbane / Gold Coast territory, we’ll keep you well informed on all that’s happening in the brewery.
