Job Description: Sales Representative - Inner Melbourne

Brick Lane Brewing is a proudly independent brewing community who have been making great beers and ciders from its world class brewery in South East Melbourne.

The Brick Lane Brewing Community includes all those who enjoy good beer – our consumers, customers, partner brewers, suppliers, friends and other independent brewers. We have an amazing home base in Dandenong, Victoria and believe in inclusivity and diversity in brewing and that we have an obligation to do good in our community. We actively engage with a broad range of partners across a variety of areas – from brewing great beers, partnering with customers in the trade and helping community organisations and charities.

About the Role

Brick Lane is seeking a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative - Inner Melbourne to join our Sales team.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Managing on-premise and retail outlets
  • Nurturing our existing customer base and building new customer relationships
  • Driving volume and value of our existing product range
  • Presenting new exciting products to our valued customers
  • Coordinating and managing activations and promotional activities

An important element is to plan, organise and participate in food, lifestyle and beer festivals and events (what a job hey?!) and actively promote and host beer education activities for our customers.

About You

You’ll bring your practical experience in Sales, along with a genuine interest in finding solutions to drive success for Brick Lane’s customers. You’ll have demonstrated motivation, be renowned for your customer service skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships. 

Field sales experience is essential and levels of experience will be considered (including entry-level). A knowledge of the customer base or experience in FMCG would be advantageous.

As part of a small and dynamic team, you are a team player, willing to roll your sleeves up and deliver results.

Requirements:

  • Current VIC Driver’s Licence and the right to work in Australia essential.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Cicerone Beer Server certifications are requirements of this role, however support will be provided to complete these certifications if not already held.
  • After hours and weekend work will be required to fulfil the requirements of the role.
