Job Description: Production Brewer
Capital Brewing Co is one of Australia’s fastest growing craft breweries - we have a new position open for a Production Brewer, operating from our facility at Dairy Road in Canberra.
This is a rare opportunity to join our team, we prioritise our staff experience, team culture, collaboration and inclusion which has led to an extremely low turnover rate in staff across our entire organisation.
This new Production Brewer role is to extend our existing team as our production volumes have grown significantly.
You will need to have a strong track record and associated qualifications in production brewing operations including but not limited to; wort production, CIP, dry hopping, product transfers and general sanitation.
You will need to be extremely process driven, following documented operating procedures outlining industry best practice, HACCP compliant procedures across for operation.
You will be involved in providing critical feedback for continual process improvements across the entire production process.
Our approach is collaborative, while your primary focus will be the consistent production of core range products, you will receive regular opportunities for recipe development, with guidance from our head brewer, on special release and taproom products.
Our number one priority across our entire operation is the safety of our Staff and Customers. You will work closely with our Safety / WHS Manager as we continually improve safety and quality processes across the operation.
Capital Brewing Co has been in operation since April 2018, we occupy 2,500 sqm at Dairy Road in Fyshwick, employing over 60 staff in both Canberra and Sydney.
We believe in investing in the development of our team, accredited training programs and the highest quality equipment from world leading suppliers to deliver consistent, high quality brews to the East Coast of Australia.
This position commences September 1 2020 with a competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
