Ale Stars has long been an institution at The Local Taphouse in St Kilda. Every month, for many years, its stage has showcased some of the best brewers and beer people from across the Australia – and the world. And there’s no sign that it’s slowing down.
The February 2017 edition will see Chris Moore from Sailors Grave Brewing along to tell the tale of he and his wife leaving the lives of high flying Sydney restauranteurs to open a brewery in an abandoned butter factory in rural Victoria and inflict a range of esoteric beer styles on unsuspecting locals, all the while packaging them with children's artwork.
He'll be bringing the following beers to liven the conversation further:
- Blueberry Berliner Weisse
- Down She Goes Gose
- First Harvest Grisette
- Raspberry and Elderflower Grisette
Tickets for the evening cost $40 which includes beer, dinner and entry into the trivia - you can reserve a spot here.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start.
