The fundamentals may be the same as any Oktoberfest celebration, but things will be a little different when the Merri Mashers head to Tallboy & Moose for their festivities.
That's because they're going grassroots, having invited six members of the long-running home brew club to each brew a German style beer. At the event, these six will be pouring from a pop-up bar (for free, we might add) so you can have a taste and cast votes for the beer that will ultimately be crowned as the glorious People's Choice Champion.
For their part, Tallboy & Moose will have their own range of German style beers on offer, plus there'll be German food specials all day long, live music and German tunes aplenty.
And for a bit of extra fun, at 2pm they'll be hosting a "Sausage Dog Party" where they'll be asking, "Who's got the longest Weiner?". It's a Weiner costume competition apparently, so make of that what you will...
The fun starts from midday.
