Fresh from the completion of the Melbourne leg of their 2023 season, the team at GABS has announced a gala dinner with global brewing royalty on the eve of their Sydney festival.
The inaugural GABS International Brewers Collective features keynote speeches from Sierra Nevada's Steve Grossman and Paul Jones from Cloudwater in the UK.
Steve will be sharing the Sierra Nevada journey, from its earliest days as a pioneer of the US scene to its position today, while Paul, who founded Cloudwater in 2014, will tell the tale of their rise to become one of the UK’s leading breweries.
They'll be joined by dozens of brewers in town for the three sessions of GABS Sydney taking place on June 2 and 3.
GABS director Mike Bray said: “The event is aimed to grow our craft beer industry's position on the global stage, to foster international relationships, and provide an opportunity for all local breweries and suppliers to send their brew and brand team members to hear directly from some of the best minds in the industry, to share experiences, network and gain, up close and personal, firsthand knowledge that is not necessarily accessible every day.”
The event is set to become an annual affair on the eve of GABS Sydney. As well as the speeches, Q&A and entertainment, guests get to enjoy a three-course meal curated by ICC Sydney’s award-winning culinary team.
Tickets cost $225pp, or $2000 for a table of ten.
