Sour beer fans best get ready to pucker up as a new festival launches in Adelaide.

The Acid Trip Sour Beer Fest takes over this February, with 18 brewers invited to showcase their wild and funky concoctions. The organisers have also invited Moorak Wines and are promising a few special guests too.

Big Easy Group director and festival founder Josh Talbot says: “I'm so excited about our Acid Trip Sour Beer Festival this year. We've got some of the best brewers and blenders in the country attending and I can't wait to see what fun and funky delights they have in store for us."

As well as sampling all manner of sour beers, attendees will get to enjoy 70s vibes, live tunes, DJs playing til late, and a UV paint splatter room spread across NOLA’s laneway and The Stag Public House Balcony.

And if you come across a new favourite, beers are available for purchase by the glass and takeaway direct from the brewers.

Tickets cost $55pp, which includes an Acid Trip Festival Glass and beer tastings. Group bookings of $200 for four are available.
