Do you like beer? Do you like classic arcade games? Well then, it's time you combine your hobbies in style as Newtown's 1989 Arcade Bar hosts Coin-Hop – a craft beer and gaming event like no other.
On December 5 you'll be able to join the legends from Garage Project who'll be bringing four of their much-loved beers and hosting a tasting session – including a talk about the fab art that goes hand in hand with their beer.
But that's not all, as you'll also be able to sit in on a masterclass of the classic Neo Geo shoot-em-up game Metal Slug 2 – hosted by none other than world record holder Martin Taylor. And, to top it off, all your pre-teen dreams will come true as every arcade game in the bar will be set to FREE PLAY!!
It's happening from 1pm-5pm, with mini-competitions and prizes in the mix, so head along to try some top beers and some quality screen time.
