While they'd dearly love to be leaning over a long table, clinking and sloshing big steins with you in person, the team at the Red Hill Brewery have necessarily adjusted their Oktoberfest plans for this year.
However, that's not necessarily bad news as they're bringing the festival vibe to you.
For their locked-down Oktoberfest – Loktoberfest, if you will – they've put together a festival pack containing a dozen of their German style beers (that's four each of their Kolsch, Pilsner and Wheat), a branded beer glass and limited edition Loktoberfest t-shirt, and they'll be hosting a live streaming session from their brewhouse "beer hall".
You'll get to join them on a virtual brewery tour, be guided through a tasting session and, perhaps most importantly, have a legitimate excuse to don your dirndl for an evening.
