You could never, ever, ever accused 3 Ravens of being afraid of the dark – after all, this is the brewery that was bold/brave/daft enough to add a smoked dark ale to their core range waaaaaay back when next to no one even knew what a "craft" brewery was. So, a celebration of dark beer is right up their alley and that's what they'll be hosting to mark Winter Solstice.
Join them at the brewery on June 26 where each and every one of their taps will be pouring a dark beer of some variety – amongst them a new 11 percent ABV barrel-aged milkshake stout and 18 percent ABV barrel-aged peated imperial oatmeal stout. They'll also be cooking up a mid-winter feast while dark art will be on display and dark music provides the requisite ambience.
If you want to go all in, they're putting on two beer masterclasses (1pm & 3pm) that get you an exclusive brewery tour and tasting session with the brewing team where they'll guide you through 10 of their limited release and aged dark beers – spaces to these sessions are super-limited, so book your spot quick.
