Range Brewing's Third Birthday (QLD & VIC)

Given the fact Range Brewing release multiple beers a week, took out many of the major trophies at the most recent Indies and now operate a taproom in Abbotsford alongside their Newstead brewery, you'd be forgiven for assuming they've been around for longer than three years.

Yet it really has only been three years since they launched and, to celebrate that milestone, they're throwing a party at both their homes and – maybe unsurprisingly – releasing three rather special new beers.

On Friday, May 14, head into either Range outpost to pick up cans of their three anniversary beers or make it along on Saturday, May 15, for a party where they'll be pouring beers from some of their best brewing mates too.

At Range Newstead, the party's taking place in the carpark with party vibes brought by DJs Baby Paws and Luke Brazier and food courtesy of their in-house pizza kitchen.

In Abbotsford, Meg 4x4 and Maro (Ilio) are providing the beats with Red Sparrow Pizza are coming along to serve up the eats.

The breweries:

The birthday beers:

  • Drip So Smooth is an Imperial Stout with banana and peanut, brewed in collaboration with Finback Brewery from Queens, USA
  • Crocodiles Don't Play Cricket is a Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with the legends from DEYA Brewing Company from Cheltenham, UK
