It's quite something to consider that the first WA Beer Week was held waaaaaaay back in 2002, before the latest crop of prospective craft beer drinkers was even born.
So feel free to take that longevity as a sign, if you need one, that this is a damn fine festival to have stuck around for so long, and indeed strive to get better and better over time.
After skipping a year in 2020, WA Beer Week 2021 returns from June 4 to 13, delivering a winter pick-me-up across ten days at some the best breweries, bars, bottleshops and restaurants that WA has to offer.
It begins with the offical opening (or perhaps pre-opening) party at The DTC on June 3 (for which Crafty Cabal members can win tickets – see below), before the ensuing days bring attendees a cavalcade of events, including collaborations and cheese pairing, fitness and fun runs, boilermakers, beergustations, bicycle tours, trivia, sensory skills and pint after pint of glorious WA beer.
There's also the WA Beer & Brewing Conference to look forward to, which you can check out here.
