Blues music has been enjoyed in bars for a hundred years. So when it comes to Hobart's biggest blues festival, it makes sense for it to take place at a brewery.
On February 22 from 12pm, mosey on down Hobart Brewing Co for the fourth annual Blues, Brews & Barbecues Festival. Soak in ten hours of live tunes from more than 30 international, interstate and local performers, with the lineup including Ray Beadle, Johan Danno, Little Wise, Cass Eager, and The Bad Dad Orchestra.
Ten hours is a long time, so keep yourself fed with BBQ stalls and food trucks covering a range of cultural cuisines including Tasmanian Indigenous, Brazilian and Korean - pick from Taco Taco, Kalbi, Brazilian BBQ, The Loaded Dog, Evans Street Eats and The Hunger Brigade.
And of course, enjoy Hobart Brewing beers in the taproom. Alongside your regular favourites, there'll be seasonal and limited brews on the day.
BBB is also family friendly, so bring the kids and let them hang out in the children’s play area, bouncing on a giant inflatable ride while you bop along to the blues.
