After a year's hiatus and a further postponement due to last year's bushfires in the region, the beer lovers of Port Macquarie have another beer festival to look forward to.
The Port Macquarie Beer & Cider Festival is now taking place on February 22, 2020, set against a backdrop of the Hastings River, and showcasing a diverse range of brews from across the country.
Joining local brewers Moorebeer and Wicked Elf are the likes of Balter, Capital The Welder's Dog, Bucket Brewery, Stone & Wood, and The Coastal Brewery plus local cider makers.
The 2020 festival also sees the return of the Mid North Coast Beer Keg Toss – their nod to the Highland Games, which relies on a combination of technique, timing and pure power to succeed. If that sounds like you, register with festival organisers via their website.
It's a family-friendly event featuring gourmet food market stalls, games and live music (check out the acts here). The games area will be filled with activities to keep kids of all ages entertained with a jumping castle, Bocce, giant Jenga and more.
The organisers are putting on a special bus timetable so attendees can enjoy an afternoon of tastings without having to worry about driving home.
Tickets start from $29pp, with kids tickets at $15pp and under-twos getting in free. There are also family tickets for $75, covering two adults and two kids.
We've also got a double pass to give away to members of The Crafty Cabal – head here to enter if you're a member.
