Ale Stars at The Taphouse is one of Sydney's longest-running beer appreciation nights and sees the Darlinghurst pub invite a different brewer through its doors every month.
For October, the guest of honour is Nic Sandery, founder and brewer of Molly Rose Brewing Co.
Molly Rose began in 2017 as a small outfit brewing eclectic beers out of a winery in Victoria's Strathbogie Ranges. Their early releases gained immediate attention, and the brewery built up enough of a following to eventually raise money for their own bar and cellar, which recently opened up in Collingwood.
Nic will guide attendees through a selection of four Molly Rose beers, which will be matched with a two-course meal and a healthy amount of banter.
And if you find one night isn't enough to get a proper taste of Molly Rose's beers, Taphouse will be hosting the brewery's first NSW tap showcase the following day.
Tickets cost $45 and can be purchased here.
