Spring is a fresh and lovely season, so what better way to enjoy it by drinking something fresh and lovely?
The hop fiends at Akasha are about to launch the latest incarnation of their always popular Korben D double IPA and are doing so at Annandale's Empire Hotel during a four beer, four course feast hosted by the Akasha team, with the menu as follows:
- Freshwater pale ale with prawn rice paper rolls
- Fire Within amber ale with beef & amber pie, caramelised onion and mash
- Hopsmith IPA with spicy tuna ceviche
- Korben D IIPA with spicy beans, pork belly and bacon crumb
The feature beer will be kegged and delivered on the day of the dinner so you know you'll be getting it at its peak. If for any reason you feel you need more beer before or after the meal, they'll be serving up cheap schooners of the core range all night.
