Schamozzle: A chaotic, but organised delight.
The pastry sour by Victoria’s Good Land Brewing certainly packs it all into one can. Indeed, reading the list of ingredients is like giving a child your wallet and letting them run loose in a supermarket: strawberries, kiwifruit, lime marshmallow and soft-serve vanilla ice-cream.
Given the lactose sour base was conditioned on a particularly large collection of strawberries, the first thought unsurprisingly goes to strawberries and cream. But before too long, the kiwifruit and lime take us closer to Splice territory while the beer remains just sour enough to balance out the lasting sweetness. What’s more, it’s safe to say that dropping some vanilla ice-cream straight into your Schamozzle, could be one of the smallest schmozzles you could make.
