Good Land don’t like to miss the opportunity to celebrate European beer traditions, so Oktoberfest is something like to approach with some gusto. As well as holding their own celebration, for 2022, they’ve doubled on traditional by brewing both a Märzen and a dunkel. It’s the second time the brewery’s made that Märzen Hauptbahnhof and again it returns with a crystal clear, golden orange body and slightly sweet tones of biscuit, brioche and honey before an earthy spice and balancing bitterness joins the volksfest.
Bavarian Nobility is a new release, with the Munich-style dunkel a smooth and dark lager that brings an immediate wave of nutty and fresh toast notes. There’s also a touch of chocolate, raisin, and fancy cola, while a dry roasted finish makes this royal feel like it would pair perfectly with a pretzel.
