The Dutch Trading Co invited their mates at The Seasonal Brewing Co to help them celebrate turning seven, and have celebrated the birthday with an age appropriate liquid birthday cake. This friendship is more than a venue + brewery = collab, however, as Seasonal’s head brewer Brody Watt worked at The DTC in it’s early years, while assistant brewer Blake Jones can still occasionally be found behind the bar.
Featuring hazelnuts, almonds, vanilla and cherries, these festivities come on like a puréed Cherry Ripe, complete with whisked in Nutella and enough ABV to set the mood halfway through the can. Soon enough you’ll be playing Pin The Ear on DTC’s cult leader Vincent Van Halen – in all likelihood with people you’ve only just met.
