There’s a lot of exciting activity at Molly Rose Brewing’s Collingwood home (well, next to it), with work underway on their impressive expansion. You can read more about the brewery's next steps here but in short, the revamped Molly Rose will include a beer garden, new bar, small dining space and - in a first for the brewery - a brewhouse of their own.
New Toys is a tribute to that forthcoming brewery and the flexibility it’ll give them to make more beers, fine tune them or, as they say: make whatever hop soup they want. This hop soup is particularly brimming too with Citra, Centennial, Nelson Sauvin, Apollo, Ekuanot, Chinook, Simcoe and Cascade all a part of the package. Together, they combine for a fragrant mix of honeydew melon and pawpaw, citrus and an array of floral flavours. While there's a bit of sweetness at play too, a firmly bitter finish makes New Toys, the kind of more-ish IPA that would work wonders in the new Molly Rose beer garden.
