Otherside’s final Creative Series release for the year swells with summer vibes, although the stunning artwork by Tapped By Otherside grant winner Liam Dee may well conjure thoughts of an endless, although verdant, dystopian version. His piece was chosen by a panel including Art Gallery of WA curators and now sees him with a residency at Freo.Social during the beer’s release, not to mention with some prize money in his pockets.
Beer wise, the India Helles Lager joins a welcome trend of clean, modern beers in this space that equally maximise new world hop expression and drinkability. Riffing on their Social lager, Feedback is full of green tropical fruit, passionfruit and stonefruit, which begins juicy before a firm bitterness takes over, running with resin to a parching conclusion.
Otherside is now seeking expressions of interest from local artists for the next beer in the Creative Series: Distortion – a kettle sour. If that sounds like you then head . ?Submissions close at 5pm on December 16, 2019.
