This is as straightforward as things get, or is it? At first glance, Australian Bitter should be about jugs at the local pub with a counter meal: nothing crazy, just classic carbonated refreshment. While some of this is true, the inclusion of Summer, Topaz and Galaxy hops lends it a dash of modernity, not to mention light tropical and citrus flavours, that old school bitter drinkers wouldn't normally expect.
Continuing the Aussie theme, 95 percent of ingredients are Australian, with many sourced from WA. Bitterness feels firmer than its listed 25 IBUs, however the 4.2 percent ABV keeps overall proceedings in check, in another beer showing how the Beerfarm likes to do things their own way.
