It’s a fresh and punchy start to the year for the folks at The Mill Brewery. First up, their love for zippy sours continues with Fresh Fruits and its combination of passionfruit and guava. Here, we’re talking summer in a can with sweet passionfruit and guava coming together like a delightful, freshly-made tropical juice. It’s a palate picture that’s only further encouraged by the smooth and soft body and a tangy and sour side to balance out those fruits.
Then there’s Kick IPA which is a lovely display of Simcoe, Citra, Centennial, and Nelson Sauvin Hop Kief. Quite the classic, it’s a lean, fairly bitter beer where grapefruit and pine really coat that palate and are joined by gentle waves of mandarin and passionfruit. Better yet, if you’d like to be among the first to try it, the beer is launching at The Bendi alongside a gig from the extravagant and excellent Bob Log III. Details are here and pre-sale tickets include a tin of Kicker.
