They say it’s good to dream big but what if your interests are life’s simple pleasures? A book in the sun, an evening spent gazing into the stars, or a hop-forward beer that’s incredibly easy to drink? Bodriggy’s Livin’ The Dream has you covered with the last of those, with the West Coast IPA providing a myriad mix of hops.
To make it, the Abbotsford brewers brought together the new(ish/kinda still new enough) Eclipse and Krush (AKA HBC 586) and paired them with the old favourites of Centennial and Amarillo. When brought together with a touch of Munich malt, they create a beer filled with mango, orange lollies, grapefruit and a deft resinous touch. There’s a little toastiness to be found too but with a dry and punchy bitterness, the beer’s dream is to leave you considering another pint.
